The Handmade Fair 2015 // Hampton Court

This year is flying by. Were in August now, which means (post move!!) it will be time to start worrying about school uniform and getting sorted for return to school. Therefore I think I deserve something exciting to look forward to in September - And this is it The Handmade Fair presented by Kirstie Allsop. I was lucky enough last year to get a day ticket - but the baby was a lot smaller then, I'm hoping I can go child free this year. This really was such a lovely day out in a beautiful location.

The Handmade fair is the brain child from the lady who loves to craft Kirstie Allsop. It brings together over a 3 days a shopping experience of all things crafty and quirky, master-classes and guest speakers, yummy food and general fun in the (hopefully) sun. Its full of like minded people who get excited by pretty shiney things or patterned fabric or soft squishy wool.

You can purchase tickets which include not only entrance into the fair but also sessions in the Skills Workshop and Super Theatre Sessions with Q&A with industry leaders like Mollie Makes. And this year the grand make sessions will involve 300 crafters all get together and making together - something which I love about my hobbies!!

Last year there was some beautiful stands and being able to take the time to talk to the stall holders was such a joy - hearing about there passion, sharing what we would like to make or stories about what we want to learn. These hobbies are more than just making, I love the community spirit it pushes!! Plus the Champagne bar and Ice Cream on sale was pretty epic.

I'm looking forward to heading down for a day of indulgence in all things crafty - let me know if your going too, would love to meet some fellow crafters!
