{Work Girls}

Back in 2008 I was working in a job that was really having major effects on my health. And after some really hard months I decieded enough was enough. I handed in my notice and went looking for another job. 2 days after I left my previous job I started a brand new shiny one. I have been in this job ever since. It was a change in direction, into a area I had no knowledge of. But I have grown, learned and actually enjoy my work. I work part time in an office, my team I work with are all girls. Which makes for a fun time. I am lucky as they do make going into work (on those bad days!) a little bit better. I have a good realtionship with them and I was honoured they were able to come and enjoy our wedding day with us.

These girls are awesome!

Also this is another challenge layout from www.Shimelle.com on mixing patterned papers. I remeber when I first started scrapbooking and struggled with trying to get different lines to mix. Whereas now I do it without thinking. I just go for matching colours, or complementing styles. This layout uses Echo Park, Bella Blvd and Sassfrass plus a little JillyBean from my scraps. A slight cheat as this uses my April Studio Calico kit (which does make matching a little easier!!)  The blog has even more awesome examples of mixing and matching papers!

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Crafting

  2. I did something very similar almost 4 years ago and have never looked back! I love my job and the lovely people I work with. More so than the evil woman had to put up with in my last job and the reason I left after 6 years!! Love the LO BTW :-)
